Huacaya Alpacas Sold

Sabetha "Bethy" is the only girl out of the 6 cria born last year to our herdsire, Estates Satin Cloud's Sebastian. She has good size for her age, correct conformation, fleece attributes that are fine, dense and have crimp. If Bethy takes after her mother she will be an easy birther and birth right on time (we can only hope).

He's not just adorable! He has an easy going, easy to handle personality. He has a great lineage. Classic head style. He has a strong boxy frame which is in perfect proportion. In addition, his bite is correct. He carries fineness as well as nice character, with an open crimp style, in his fleece. He is black black black! He is a difficult one to give up. Wabash is twin #1. The twins were easily birthed and healthy. They were able to be nursed by their mother without being supplemented. They have had a healthy first year of life and continue to grow and develop nicely. Fleece is dense and fine. We are anxious to see this second year of fleece. "Rosie" is the whole package. She is conformationally correct, correct bite, dense, crimpy, bright, great handle, low micron. And take a look at her bloodline. She is sired by Snowmass Matrix Rose which brings the great Snowmass genetics of Snowmass Royal Rose, Peruvian Hemingway, PPPeruvian Cahuide, PPeruvian Caligula, and Snowmass Quechua. From her Dam you get some of the best Canadian and Australian bloodlines such as Amadeus, Velerio, White Lightening, Javier, Jolimont (Austrailian) Pauco and Jolimont Cinimo. She is an easy breeder and a great mother.

For Raine's shearing in 2012, she had a micron of 15.9. You won't find a black much finer or with a better handle than what she is showing. Check out the fiber stats to see for yourself. Raine is our first cria out of Dundee's The Lad. Then add to that the Adrenalin line she carries from her dam's side and you get "Fantastic." We love her compact look and her typey head style, all of which she passes on to her cria. Check out her half brother, Soldier, and you'll see another fantastic black. Raine is always a hit with our visitors, especially kids. She would be great as a companion animal. Deceased after sale.

Luella has been added to our herd to add to our fine blacks. Luella carries some fantastic grey genetics from both her dam and sire. Her sire is Splendour in Gray("Sig"). That brings in Royal Fawn as her grandsire. Her dam is a true black bringing in more grey genetics from Silver Legand and Royal Inca Legend. Luella gave birth to her second cria on May 6, 2016. She has a strong, true black, male cria out of our champion herdsire, The Lad's Soldier. This male is showing great potential and we are looking forward to following his development. He has a strong frame, straight lines, and that fantastic head that everyone praises about Soldier. She needs to be with someone experienced. She is fearful when approached but once haltered is cooperative.

Olivia comes from some fantastic genetics (Aztec Adrenalin, Victor's Vaccoyo, Pperuvian Victor). That is proven by her continued fineness of fleece. We have 2 of her offspring here that demonstrate her ability to produce with an excellent outcome. She is older but still has nice fleece.

Validity has a strong frame and is conformationally correct. She has very fine fleece with good density. Mothering skills are fantastic. Validity gave birth to twins in April 2022. Nursing without any supplemental assistance. The twins (males) weighed in at 9# and 9.5#. Those twins are now healthy yearlings and doing great!

Oakley represents many positives in the world of alpacas. She is dense, has a wonderful handle, a sturdy frame, and totally cute! I'm not 100% sure that I even want to sell her. Heck, I'd like to keep them all! I'm anxious to see what she will produce. Oakley carries some great genetics. From her dam, you get the fineness carried by Aztec Adrenalin, from Victor's Vaccoyo. From her sire, you get PPPeruvian Augusto and CPeruvian Axtion Jaxon. Can't go wrong with any of these. Oakley gave birth to her first cria on Oct 11, 2022. This cria (Olpe) was sired by Red Granites Alydar. Olpe is going to be exciting to watch as he develops. We're still trying to figure out what his exact color is going to be. He is showing some tendencies toward being a modern grey.

Victoria is the first female offspring out of our black herdsire, The Lad's Soldier. Both Soldier, and the dam, Out of Sight's Velvet Validity, are part of our foundation herd. Victoria is a very nice female and is ready for her first breeding. She has a very fine fleece with an amazing soft handle to it. She is a nice size female, very conformationally correct. She has a very sweet disposition. Victoria was bred to our champion black herdsire, Sebastian for a spring 2022 cria. She gave birth to a very strong true black male. The cria, registration pending, will be included with Victoria if purchased before weaning. He is a strong male, large for his age, very correct in conformation and fleece attributes are right on. Victoria's cria, Snyder, received very positive comments from judges. Our expectations is that his next fleece will be even better. He is a nice size yearling.

Samara is confirmational correct with a dense, soft fleece. She is an easy breeder and easy birther. A great mother. When bred to grey she produced grey. Her last breeding was to our black herdsire and she produced black. Samara had another easy birth in September 2022. Her female cria, sired by our herdsire, Sebastian. The cria is true black, very energetic and conformation is correct with very straight legs. This female is such an easy birther that you may miss it if you turn around. She is also a great mother. Ready for re-breeding.

This female has it all. She carries genetics from many of the great Snowmass animals: Snowmass Midnight Diamante, Snowmass Matrix Midnight, Snowmass Matrix, Snowmass Conopa XXX, to name just a few. Cassie is one of our favorites. She is easy to handle. She is a great mother and had a stress free birth. She has a dense fleece that displays plenty of character. Check out her ARI to see the bloodlines she carries. Male cria born on 9/16/2022. Full of spunk! Looks to be dense and curly. This cria is Sebastian's Colby. He is growing great. His conformation is right on, legs and top line are straight and level and head is classic! Cassie has been a fantastic mother. She not only watches over her own cria but very attentive to the other. Time for her to be bred for the 2024 season. You can take you pick of our herdsires.

ALSA GRAND CHAMPION - October 2015, 1st & Champion Light Male Halter! 2015 fiber report just received and shows Natoma measuring a 15.9 micron fleece at 3 yrs old. He is going to start breeding this fall so hurry and get on his date card. FIRST CRIA DUE 09/2016 - Natoma settled his first female and has a confirmed pregnancy out of it. His sire is Snowmass Golden Sentry which brings some great Snowmass heritage such as Royal Challanger and Royal Rose. His dam is an Aztec Adrenalin daughter and carries some impressive heritage such as Victor's Vaccoyo and the Jolimont bloodline. Natoma's conformation is perfect and his fleece is bright, crispy and consistent. Be sure you check out his 2016 fiber stats. MFD 16.2 @ 4 yrs old. Judges comments raved about the fineness of his fleece. It is well organized and is uniform.

American Rose "Cracker" has everything you would hope for in a yearling with his heritage. His sire is the amazing Matrix Rose. You probably know that means he has Snowmass Matrix as his sire and brings Snowmass Quechua and Snowmass Royal Rose in his bloodline. Cracker gets his nickname because he was born on the 4th of July. We often referred to him as "that little firecracker" which got shortened to "Cracker". Cracker is conformationally correct with a strong frame, straight back and straight legs. His fleece is fine and consistent and should only get better as he gets older. Check out his fiber stats. 2016 MFD = 20.3. Cracker was awarded Reserve Color Champion at the 2014 Alpacas in the Ozarks Show. His most recent accomplishment was at the 2016 Txolan Show where he placed 2nd as a 2 yr old in a competitive class with Autro Pena as the judge. This male has a strong frame and full consistent coverage. He is ready to breed and well deserving of producing offspring. While Cracker is beige, he carries color in his lineage.

Our first grey! We are very pleased with this youngster. Steel is sired by the multi-champion Neversummer's US Steel bringing a multitude of grey genetics. His dam is Starshire's Samara, a true black with grey in her background as well as other colors. This boy offers lots of promise. He has a very sturdy frame, straight legs and proper proportions. His fleece is fine with density and a long staple length. Walks good on halter. He has been great with the younger boys and is protective of them. He would be great on a fiber farm or worthy of breeding.

ALSA RESERVE CHAMPION - October 2015, Light Male Halter! Storm is already proving himself in the show ring. Storm has full coverage on a very correct and compact frame. His fleece is dense, crispy and bright. He carries a long list of champions in is bloodline including his sire, Springtoo Jamahl, grandsire El Nino's Golden Legend on to El Nino and Caligula. His dam brings that wonderful fineness from Aztec Adrenalin and Victor's Vaccoyo. The list could go on. Storm is already showing he is going to be the boss, pushing around the big boys already. Storm has matured into a sturdy, well proportioned male. This guy is super easy to handle and has extremely fine, consistent fiber with lots of character. Check out his fiber analysis for 2017; MFD 17.8! Very dense, full coverage, beautiful head style! Storm is maintaining his fine fleece. In 2018 fiber states his AFD was still only 17 with %>30 0.8.
